A day trip through the beautiful rain forest of Doi Suthep - Pui National Park covering the mountains around Chiang Mai. We will start at Wat Phra That Doi Suthep. The famous Buddhist Temple overlooking the city of Chiang Mai. From this landmark we will hike our way up to a Hmong (hill tribe) village called "Khun Chang Khian" where we will have a short rest and eat lunch. After lunch we will continue our hike and enjoy beautiful views over the mountains at the "Doi Hua Moo" view point (the pigtail hill top). From the view point we walk down along a bird watching trail to finish the hike. The total distance is about 15 km and contains about 1000 meters of elevation.
This trip includes lunch, and two transfers of 20 to 30 minutes. Pick up and drop off at any hotel in the city of Chiang Mai is possible.
Note: a minimum of two guests is required to be able to organise this trip without additional costs. Private trips are possible, but at additional costs.
