Full Itinerary
A beautiful 100km loop through the Doi Suthep national park. The first 15km will be flat, but afterwards the road will start to go up gradually, and we will pass the Queen Sirikit Botanical Gardens. Continuing our way up to the top we will pass several small villages, have amazing views, and ultimately we will reach the Samoeng Forest viewpoint. The place to get some rest, enjoy the view, and make some pictures. A nice decent will be followed up by two short climbs. Better safe some energy in the legs, because the last one is challenging. The notorious 7-switchbacks climb is just over 2km long, but has serious gradients up to 16%. On our way back to town we might see some elephants, and we will stop one more time for some cake and coffee. Of course with stunning views!
